DaXtra Magnet

Quick Start Guide for All Medical Personnel

What is DaXtra Magnet?

DaXtra Magnet is a Chrome (or Edge) browser extension that lets you pull candidate and client contact information from any web page — LinkedIn, job boards, personal websites — directly into Bullhorn. Instead of manually entering data, you browse normally and Magnet does the heavy lifting.

Installing the Extension

Chrome

1.       Make sure you're using the latest version of Chrome and are signed into a Google Account.

2.       Go to: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ombdgbngokkngdbcahjbeimfcfimdole

3.       Click Add to Chrome, then Add Extension.

4.       The Magnet icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar. If you don't see it, click the jigsaw puzzle icon and pin Daxtra Magnet to your toolbar.

Microsoft Edge

5.       Use the same Chrome Web Store link above in Edge.

6.       When prompted, select Allow extensions from other stores.

7.       Continue from Step 4 above.

First-Time Setup

8.       Right-click the Magnet icon in your toolbar and select Options.

9.       Agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy when prompted.

10.    Enter your work email address and click Next. You'll receive a verification token by email.

11.    Paste the token into the setup screen and click Next.

12.    Enter your Bullhorn credentials on the final screen. The 'Service to' field will already show All Medical Personnel — leave it as is.

Your Bullhorn login name follows the format [first initial][last name].amp — for example, Jane Smith would be jsmith.amp.

How to Add a Candidate or Contact

Once installed, the Magnet icon turns green when you're on a page that may contain a person's information. You have three options:

Option 1 — Upload a Resume File (Most Accurate)

Best for LinkedIn profiles where you can export a PDF.

13.    On a LinkedIn profile, click More → Save to PDF. The file will begin downloading.

14.    Grab the downloaded file from the bottom of your browser.

15.    Drag it to the top-right corner of the page — a drop zone will appear.

16.    Drop it into the 'Drop Here to Magnet a Candidate' box.

Option 2 — Select Specific Text

Best when only part of a page has the information you need.

17.    Highlight the relevant text on the page with your mouse.

18.    Right-click and choose Re-Magnet Page.

19.    Only the text you selected will be used to build the profile.

This method doesn't open a pop-up. Watch the Magnet icon — it turns yellow while processing, then light green when the candidate is ready to review.

Option 3 — Magnet the Whole Page

Use this as a fallback when the other two options aren't practical.

20.    Click the green Magnet icon in your toolbar.

21.    Click Magnet This Page as Candidate (or Client Contact).

This method is occasionally less accurate because Daxtra has to filter out unrelated content on the page. Use Option 1 or 2 when possible.

Reviewing and Saving a Record

After processing, the Magnet icon turns light green with a person icon. Click it to open the VCard and review what was captured — contact info, work history, education, and skills. You can edit any field before saving.

Use the tabs (vCard, Pers, Work, Edu, Skills) to review all captured information.

Click the large green button to add the person to Bullhorn. If the button is grey, expand Required Fields and select a Source.

From the saved record, you can also Add Submission to a job order, Add to Tear Sheet, or Add a Note — all without leaving the page.

Daxtra handles duplicates automatically. If the person already exists in Bullhorn, you'll see the existing record immediately instead of being prompted to create a new one.

What You Need to Add a Candidate

To successfully create a new record, Daxtra requires at minimum:

          Full name

One piece of contact information — either an email address or phone number
